| Description | : | In some patients with artificial ventilation tubes, a mass of granulation tissue will arise from the surface of the tympanic membrane in the area adjacent to the base of the tube.
This is a tube-induced keratin foreign-body granuloma, which develops in about 1% to 2% of patients. |
